Privacy Policy

We ask people to tell us how they like to travel so we can design journeys worth taking. This page explains what we do with what you tell us, who else sees it, and how to ask us to stop.

Who we are

This site is operated by Swing-Well Global, LLC, trading as Spain Travel Co. We are a luxury golf and wellness travel company arranging curated journeys in Spain, working between the United States and Spain.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Travel preferences. When you complete our Travel Preferences survey we record your answers about regions, experiences, travel style, accommodation, and what luxury means to you, together with your name and email address if you choose to provide them.
• Enquiries. Your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us when you contact us or ask about a journey.
• Consultation bookings. If you schedule a call with us, the name, email address, and answers you provide on our booking page, along with the date and time you choose.
• Booking details. If you book with us, the information needed to arrange your travel — traveller names as they appear on passports, dates of birth where an airline or hotel requires them, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, room and rooming preferences, and emergency contact details.
• Partner enquiries. If you apply to our referral partner programme, your business contact details and the information you supply in that application.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server records kept by our web host, including your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request.
• Where a link came from, when the link you followed carried a source tag — for example, whether you reached our survey from a printed QR code, from Instagram, or from an email.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and design a journey that suits you.
• To arrange and deliver travel you have booked.
• To send you information about retreats and journeys, where you have asked us to.
• To understand which of our materials people find useful, so we can improve them.
• To keep records we are required to keep, and to establish or defend legal claims.

Our legal basis, if you are in the UK or EU

• Consent — for marketing emails, and for the optional information you volunteer in the survey. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Performance of a contract — for everything needed to arrange and deliver travel you have booked.
• Legitimate interests — for running and improving our business, understanding how our site is used, and keeping our records secure, where those interests do not override your rights.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information.

Who we share it with

Travel providers

Arranging travel means passing your details to the businesses delivering it. For a journey in Spain that includes hotels and resorts, destination management companies, golf clubs, ground transport operators, guides, restaurants, and activity providers. They receive only what they need to serve you. Most of them are located in Spain, and they use your information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers

• Airtable — stores survey responses and enquiry records.
• Hostinger — hosts this website.
• Microsoft — provides our email and our appointment booking page. If you book a consultation, Microsoft processes the details you enter.

Others

We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or to a buyer if our business is sold. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Information leaving your country

We operate between the United States and Spain, and our service providers are largely based in the United States. If you are in the UK or EU, your information will be transferred outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

How long we keep it

• Survey responses — up to three years from submission, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking — up to two years.
• Booking records — for as long as needed to deliver your trip, then for the period our tax and legal obligations require.
• Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in California or another U.S. state with privacy legislation

You have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — though we do neither. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Making a request

Email info@spaintravelco.com and tell us what you would like. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we are not handing your information to someone else.

Cookies and measurement

Our website uses only the cookies needed to make it work. We do not currently run any analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page before doing so.

Links to our survey sometimes carry a tag identifying where the link appeared. This tells us which of our materials people respond to. It records the source of the link, not anything about you personally.

Marketing emails

We email you about retreats and journeys only if you have asked us to. Every marketing message tells you how to stop receiving them, and you can ask to be removed at any time by replying or writing to info@spaintravelco.com. We act on those requests promptly. We will still contact you about a booking you have made — those messages are part of delivering your trip, not marketing.

Security

This site uses encrypted connections, and access to our records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us passport scans, payment card numbers, or other sensitive documents by ordinary email. If we need them, we will tell you how to send them safely.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If a child travels with you, we collect only what the airlines, hotels, and providers require. If you believe a child has given us information directly, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell the people it affects.
